The program provides students with theoretical grounds and practical skills in business management enabling them to enhance their career prospects in the public sector industries and private businesses.
The program staff has plenty of experience both as academics and as practitioners consulting businessmen, industrial enterprises and distributive trade managers. Apart from that, a committed group of experts from industrial enterprises and banking industry are involved in delivering lectures and practical courses. The program focuses on applying and integrating research findings in different areas which allow to combine the best practices of business management and human resource management, for the benefit of the third sector enterprises and the public sector.
A committed group of experts from industrial enterprises and banking industry give part of lectures and practical courses on the program. This course comprises many diverse fields connected to business management enabling students to choose prospective career.
Teaching and learning on the business management degree is varied. Students will participate in traditional lectures, but they will also have the opportunity to participate in group work, go on field trips, carry out an industry placement and benefit from lectures from guest speakers. Special attention is given to use active teaching methods as such as simulations, business games, case analysis as well as implementation of modern distant learning technology in learning process. The program require students to study a number of core subjects, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to work across a number of important business areas.
In the fourth year students take on-the-job training at industrial or service companies. They develop business plans to outline new leisure activities, retail outlets, cafes and shops of various formats, home-based businesses.

The program is structured around the two key themes of management and personal skills. These themes are developed through a variety of teaching and learning methods, including field trips, visiting speakers from the business world and if students are interested, they have the opportunity to participate in an exchange program with North American, European or South-Eastern Asian universities.
On this program, students will develop a range of key core business skills, such as marketing, human resource management, finance and entrepreneurship. Participants will also acquire a range of transferable skills such as presentation techniques, research skills, interpersonal communication skills and knowledge of various IT packages.

Krasnoyarsk is the administrative capital of Krasnoyarsky kray – second largest region of Russia. It is a big industrial and educational centre with a population of more than 1 million people, and also an important junction of the Trans-Siberian Railway.
The city is located on the banks of the Yenisey River in the valley formed by the Eastern Sayan Mountains. Nature reserve Stolby ("pillars") has become the city’s visiting card.
Among the famous people born in Krasnoyarsk are artist Vasily Surikov, opera singer Dmitri Hvorostovsky, biathlete Evgeny Ustyugov, skeletonist Alexander Tretyakov and ice-hockey player Alexander Semin.
In March 2019 Krasnoyarsk proudly hosted the XXIX Winter Universiade.
