Bachelor's degree program “Special Purpose Vehicles”

The program aims to prepare specialists efficient in production and exploitation of vehicles and airdrome technical support complexes. Participants will master in applying modern methods to ensure reliability of facilities and equipment and minimize their operational costs.

Yuri P. Kaiser, PhD in technical sciences, an assistant professor, the author of more than 160 research papers on the road and airdrome construction, reducing jet fuel losses, remediation of oil pollution, holder of a grant from OJCS «OC Rosneft».

Accommodation: On-campus accommodation is available in double and triple-occupancy rooms (€ 20 per month)
Practicalities: Airport transfer and invitation letter for a Russian study visa are provided by the University

The program consists of theoretical and practical courses. The main ones are:

  • Basic principles of aviation technology and safety;
  • Construction of special purpose vehicles;
  • Technology of special purpose vehicles production;
  • Vehicle power unit;
  • Exploitation, diagnostics, repair and utilization of special purpose vehicles;
  • Vehicles and equipment for airodrome maintenance;
  • Vehicles and equipment for aircraft maintenance.

Practical trainings of students, as well as a significant part of field training are conducted in major Siberian companies. It is a real opportunity to get acquainted with modern technology and production processes in the field.

The City of Krasnoyarsk

Krasnoyarsk is the administrative capital of Krasnoyarsky kray — second largest region of Russia. It is a big industrial and educational centre with a population of more than 1 million people, and also an important junction of the Trans-Siberian Railway.

The city is located on the banks of the Yenisey River in the valley formed by the Eastern Sayan Mountains. Nature reserve Stolby ("pillars") has become the city’s visiting card.

Among the famous people born in Krasnoyarsk are artist Vasily Surikov, opera singer Dmitri Hvorostovsky, biathlete Evgeny Ustyugov, skeletonist Alexander Tretyakov and ice-hockey player Alexander Semin.

In March 2019 Krasnoyarsk proudly hosted the XXIX Winter Universiade.
