University students are ready to compete in singing, dancing and theatrical performance. Department teams from every university division have applied to perform in the university competition to be held 23 October in the city’s Musical Theatre. The competition traces its origin back to the first event held 10 years ago.

Every team will stage a show to demonstrate why they have chosen their department and to attract the audience’s attention to its achievements and strengths. In recent years, first awards at the competition have been won by first-year students from the Department of Chemistry and the Department of Linguistics, Literary Studies and Journalism.

The competition finalists will represent the university at the city competition in November.
