On December 15, 2020, China and Russia through My Eyes student forum was held in Harbin. Siberian Federal University was represented by Sofia Ukhobotova, a 4th-year student of the School of Philology and Language Communication.
The student's speech was about the successful experience of the PRC in combating coronavirus outbreaks and Russian-Chinese cooperation during the pandemic.

The forum was held in the format of a video conference and brought together government representatives, teachers and students from Russia and China. Students presented their talks in the Chinese and Russian languages, which they study, about culture, education, and international cooperation.
