Dr Natalia Bekuzarova, Associate Professor at the Department of IT in Education, Institute of Education, Psychology and Sociology, Siberian federal University has become an awardee of the national competition in educational blogging.

Mingiyan Semenov: "Olympic bronze sounds like gold to me"

Mingiyan Semenov, a second year student from the Institute of Physical Education, Sports and Tourism and a winner of Olympic bronze in Greco-Roman wrestling at London Olympics, was awarded with II Order for Sevices to the Fatherland at a formal reception in Kremlin on 15 August 2012.

SibFU delegation meets Dmitry Medvedev

SibFU rector Eugene Vaganov and SiBFU's delegation attended the expert community meeting on entrepreneurship at tertiary institutions and research centres on 7 August 2012. The meeting's chair was Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and it was held in Novosibirsk.

SibFU student wins Olympic bronze

Mingiyan Semenov, a second-year student from the Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism, won a bronze medal in Greco-Roman wrestling at the XXX Summer Olympic games in London. His coach is the RF Distinguished coach Michael Gamzin

Gold medals and 100 % result

SibFU rector Eugene Vaganov saw the representatives of SibFU's football teams on 2 August 2012. SibFU's football players successfully performed at the inaugural EUSA (European Universities Sports Association) Games in Cordoba (Spain) in July 2012.

SibFU team wins European championship in mini-football

SibFU men's team won the final competition in mini-football tournament in Cordoba on 22 July 2012. The team represented Russia at the inaugural EUSA (European Universities Sports Association) Games. SibFU's team won a decisive game with a Portugal team (the University of Minho). The score was 3:1.
