Prior appointment is not required in the following cases:

• acute pain;
• body temperature increase;
• blood pressure increase;
• yellowing of the skin;
• changes in urine colour;
• skin rashes, itchy skin;
• other acute diseases and conditions.

Please note that you can undergo vaccination (incl. flu) without prior appointment.

You should apply to the front desk with your passport and medical insurance in order to make an appointment with a doctor. Front desk work hours: 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM.

Medical insurance

You are legally obliged to have medical insurance coverage for the entire duration of your stay on the territory of Russia. Insurance can be purchased in your home country but it should be valid on the territory of Russia. It is also possible to get medical insurance in Russia — this can be done from a local health insurance company. Upon request the University may recommend to you a few reputable local health insurance companies and to arrange your meeting with their representatives.

Be sure to bring a sufficient supply of any prescription medication you currently require. These medications may sometimes be difficult to acquire in Russia.

Health improvment and rest

• The recreation center on the lake Tus

  The recreation center on the lake Tus for administrative and academic staff.

  Mineral lakes of Khakassia, a hot dry climate, deep blue sky contribute a lot to the rest and treatment.

  In Solenoozernoe, since 2002 recreation center "Tus" is the place to rest for the university teachers and staff. Initially, there were only 3 houses, but in 2008 there were two more built, so that five families can now relax here during the week. The main season — from June to August. Houses consist of sleeping room with four beds, a small kitchen with tile and fridge and a hallway. At the base you can also live in a tent: there are clean water, electricity and a cozy bathhouse. Moreover in the village shops nearby you can find the full range of goods as in the city.

  

• Base for Resort and Recreation “Daurskoe”

  Recreation center “Daurskoe” for administrative and academic staff.

  Recreation center “Daurskoe” is situated on the bank of the Krasnoyarsk Sea, 17 km from the Primorsk village (Balakhta district).

  Visitors can play basketball, volleyball, table tennis or badminton. There is also boating available on the Krasnoyarsk Sea.

  You can visit the center with the whole family, with your friends or on your own. Accommodation is in rooms for 2 or 3 people or in the tent. Houses are equipped with electric stove, microwave oven, refrigerator and all the necessary tableware.

• Student sanatorium

  Main objectives of the Sanatorium:

  • preventive and curative care for students;
  • improving the health of students, formation of skills of a healthy lifestyle - a reasonable combination of training, relaxation and treatment;
  • prevention of various diseases.

  Dispensary provides:

  • rehabilitation and treatment of students;
  • diet meals;
  • high efficient treatment and healing processes.

  Indications for treatment:

  • diseases of the musculoskeletal system;
  • gastrointestinal disease;
  • respiratory diseases;
  • diseases of the cardiovascular system;
  • kidney and urogenital system;
  • chronic fatigue syndrome.

  Each student is assigned to the individual therapeutic programs based on his illness.

• Recreational and sports camp "Polytechnic" for students and staff

  Recreational and sports camp "Polytechnic" is located on the bank of the Krasnoyarsk Sea, 200 km south from Krasnoyarsk. You can get to the camp by bus to Primorsk village, 25 kilometers by boat to the river Ubei.

  10 houses, a warehouse for storage of equipment and inventory, diesel-electric power station, bathhouse, covered playground with a wooden cover for boxing, playground with wooden floors for basketball, indoor playground for a table tennis, soccer field , volleyball court, 10 boats, 4 catamarans, 4 motor boats.

  Power supply is provided by the camp diesel power stations, water supply — from the artesian well. Visitors are accommodated in rooms with three or four beds. Meals are provided in new modern dining hall.

  Every year more than 400 students, faculty and staff are coming to the camp to have a rest.

  The number of guests per shift — 100 students and 25 teachers and staff.
