08april Public lecture on the history of Siberia in the 18th-20th centuries Dr Denis Gergilev, Director of the Institute for the Humanities, SibFU, will speak on the image of Siberia in the 18th-20th centuries as seen by the representatives of non-indigenous people. The lecture will be hosted by the Regional Research Library on 12 April 2014.
16february Japanese professor to give lectures on studying Russia in Asian countries Institute for the Humanities, SibFU, will host lectures of Kimitako Matsuzato, a distinguished Japanese scholar, on 17-18 February 2014. Professor Matsuzato will give two public lectures. The lectures will be about studying Russia in China, India, Turkey, and Korea and about Asian Russia, its geopolitics and territorial management.

The conference includes the session on preparing XXIX Winter Universiade and the photo competition 'Student Sports without frontiers'.
