The Russian Center for Science and Culture in Beirut, together with Siberian Federal University (SibFU), talked about the possibilities of studying in Russia and scientific and cultural life in the heart of Siberia – Krasnoyarsk on April 16 on the page.

Krasnoyarsk is a city of many cultures and traditions, the melodies of the southern steppes meet here with the legends of the far north, and classical art closely lives with modern experiments. The Krasnoyarsk Territory is the only one in Russia where all-natural zones are present-from the Arctic deserts in the north to the steppes in the south.

SibFU representatives Ekaterina Cherkasova, the specialist of the International Cooperation Department, and Yulia Voronenkova, the coordinator of the English-language Master's program at the Institute of Oil and Gas, described scientific activity in SibFU and facilities provided by the university to international students.

Among the organizers were also Hedi Ben Ahmed, the Assistant in the Basic Department of Chemistry and Technology of Natural Energy and Carbon Materials, a 2020 graduate of the Petroleum Chemistry and Refining program, Kanbar Mustafa Jamala Kanbar, 4th-year undergraduate student at the Institute of Oil and Gas and Fahmy Mahmoud Fahmy Mohamed, a 2nd-year student of the English-language Master's degree in Petroleum Chemistry and Refining. The students shared their experience of studying at SibFU and living in Krasnoyarsk, giving the participants a brief SibFU campus tour online.
