Siberian Federal University enters Three University Missions 2021

Siberian Federal University has been included in the fifth edition of the Three University Missions Moscow international ranking. The ranking results were presented at an open meeting of the Council of the Russian Union of Rectors on 31 August 2021.

Three University Missions evaluates three key missions of a university: education, and science and interaction with society, and is the most representative in the world due to the total number of participating universities. In 2021, the total list increased from 1,500 to 1,650 educational institutions, 112 Russian universities are among them. Siberian Federal University was included in the 32–38 interval group among Russian universities and the 901–1000 group in the world ranking.

This ranking was initiated by the Russian Union of Rectors in accordance with the instructions of President of Russia Vladimir Putin and assesses only objective criteria based on official data, as well as on data from reputable international information providers.

Three University Missions is taken into account when selecting foreign educational and scientific organizations, whose diplomas do not need to be additionally validated in Russia. In addition, the ranking is included in the Scientific and Technological Development of the Russian Federation state program.
