FinOlymp-2022 participants to be selected at SibFU

The registration of participants in the qualifying round of the FinOlymp-2022 International Financial Security Olympiad has started. FinOlymp Olympiad is one of the most prestigious student competitions in the field of financial security. The event is held by Rosfinmonitoring directly on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

Among the co-organizers are the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, the Talent and Success Educational Foundation, as well as foreign and Russian universities participating in the International Network Institute in the field of anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing, including the Siberian Federal University.

The qualifying round will be held on May 18 at the SibFU. Schoolchildren from the Siberian Federal District and students from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Armenia will take part in the qualifying round. For the first time, students from the BRICS countries (Brazil, India, China, South Africa) will join them this year.

The winners of the qualifying round will take part in the final, which will be held on October 10–14 in Sirius (Sochi).

It should be noted that the International Financial Security Olympiad is included in the list of Olympiads that provide winners with additional bonuses when entering universities, both for undergraduate and graduate programs. In addition, the winners will receive invitations to interviews and internships with federal security agencies and leading corporations operating in the global commodity markets.

Registration of participants takes place on the Olympiad website and will last until May 16.
