Project Objectives:

Siberian Federal University carries on experimental and theoretical analysis of carbon budget including trace gases fluxes for North Eurasian ecosystems. SibFU develops and implements multisensory concept for using of data of the remote sensing for dimensional analysis and modeling of the carbon and greenhouse gas budget and Eurasian ecosystems productivity in terms of climate changes and certain environmental management. It also makes ecological and economic evaluation of the Eurasian ecosystems capacities and carbon units and quotas grounding for Russian territories based on international techniques and standards.

The leading international and Russian scientists having advanced experience in the areas mentioned above as well as a great number of graduate and postgraduate students from the SibFU and other Russian universities are involved in the research.
