The delegation included fifteen SibFU's students. There were nine representatives from the university youth organizations.

Lev Kuznnetsov, the governor of Krasnoyarsk Krai, presented the opportunities of winter sports in Krasnoyarsk for hosting the World University Winter Games in 2019. According to Lev Kuznetsov, the city has rich experience of world competitions. New sporting venues, such as a state-of-the-art biathlon centre, an ice centre, a mountain ski resort, several ice rinks available all the year round, have been constructed with student sports in mind.

Lev Kuznetsov mentioned the fact that Krasnoyarsk application has been approved by the Russian government and Siberian regions. President and Prime Minister approved of the initiative and gave relevant instructions to ministries and departments.

Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan President spoke warmly of the Krasnoyarsk initiative: «I think Siberian application is quite serious and sound. Siberia is a place of strong and healthy people, they are strong in body and spirit. It has numerous sporting traditions».

The presentation of opportunities for hosting Universiade 2019 resulted in the decision of FISU's Executive Committee to visit Krasnoyarsk and consider the opportunities of staging the World University Winter Games in this city.
