Siberian Federal University and Aichi Society sign a collaboration memorandum

Siberian Federal University, a founder of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Society of Russia-Japan Collaboration, has signed a memorandum on collaboration between Aichi Province and Krasnoyarsk Krai.

SibFU's rector Eugene Vaganov signed the memorandum on behalf of the university. Katagiri Kiyotaka, president of Japan-Russia Society signed the document on behalf of Aichi Province.

Krasnoyarsk and Aichi Province has been working together on collaboration in culture and education for eleven years. The parties intend to expand the directions of collaboration and consistently build interaction in economy, environmental protection, social responsibility and sports wherever it might be possible.

The parties agreed on planning a visit of Aichi University rector Takashima Tadayoshi to Siberian Fderal University to sign an agreement on university collaboration. Khorikiri Toshio, CEO for Toyota Engineering Corporation, may attend SibFU's Quality Management Conference and speak at several workshops. SibFU's doctoral students may attend a course of lectures from Ishii Tetsujiro, TEC's senior consultant.
