SibFU's students win academic mobility grants from the RF President

Five SibFU's undegraduate and postgraduate students were short-listed as the winners of the national competition for an annual course of study at international universities. Dmitry Livanov, Ministry of Education and Research, signed the relevant document on 17 July 2012.

The scholarship covers the tuition fee, transportation, accomodation costs and textbooks.

Natalia Edwards, head of SibFU's Grant Centre, says the university won only two prestigious academic mobility grants last year.

Scholarship awardees:

  • Yury Perov, a third-year student from the Institute of Mathematics. He will study at MIT, US;
  • Ole Gergart, a first-year master's student from the Institute of Engineering Physics and Radioelectronics. He will study at the University of Applied Sciences, Leipzig, Germany;
  • Ilya Rasskazov, a first-year doctoral student from the Institute of Engineering Physics and Radioelectronics. He will study at the University of Pennsylvania, US;
  • Ilya Rubtsov, a first-year doctoral student from Polytechnic Institute. He will study at the University of Arizona, US;
  • Lyudmila Timofeeva, a fouth-year student from the Institute of Economics, Management and Environmental Studies. She will go to the University of Glasgow. UK.
