Dr Natalia Bekuzarova, Associate Professor at the Department of IT in Education, Institute of Education, Psychology and Sociology, Siberian federal University has become an awardee of the national competition in educational blogging.
The competition was arranged by 'Ariadne', a non-governmental organization to support education and research. The competition aimed to encourage and promote best educational bloggers.
The organizers monitored competitors' blogs for half a year. Assessment criteria were the amount of unique posts, the number of comments, subscribers and the growth of citation indices.
SibFU's lecturer Natalia Bekuzarova was short-listed as the competition finalist and ended up as the best national blogger in education. Her «Russian Teacher's blog» is about a teacher's image, school dress-code, representing teachers in art and IT in education. The most popular topics attracted up to 1,500 visitors.
Natalia said it had been a difficult competition. «My blog was supported by students and colleagues who used it in their teaching. We will continue working from1 September».

The competition winner was awarded with a certificate and netbook.
