SibFU researchers contribute to cleaning waste oil

SibFU's researchers exhibited the technology of approaching environmental problems at SPE Russian Oil and Gas Conference and Exhibition. It was rated highly by experts.

SibFU researchers presented their technologies of developing absorbent polymers. The head of the research team is Vladimir Melkozerov, Senior Researcher from the Institute of Oil and Gas, SibFU. Industries employ absorbent polymers for waste treatment, collecting oil in local areas, cleaning oil waste. The technology is also adaptable to producing sunstances and compositions for extinguishing fire.
