Awards for citizen diplomacy

Natalia Borisova, a master's student from the Institute of Economics, Management and Environmental Studies, attended a debriefing at the RF Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She also received a certificate from the Ministry to verify her contribution to preparing and attending Youth Summit 2012.

Vasily Nikulenkov, Senior Lecturer from SibFU's Institute of the Humanities received a similar award. He is a staff member for the Administration of the International Youth Diplomacy League and he actively contributed to selecting and preparing the Russian delegation for attending Youth Summit in Washington.

The debriefing was conducted by Sergey Ryabkov, Deputy Minister, the RF Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Vadim Lukov, Ambassador-at-Large, Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Coordinator for BRICS Affairs, the Russian Foreign Susherpa of the G8, Coordinator of the Russian Foreign Ministry on the Work of the G20 and the BRIC Countries. The representatives of the International Youth Diplomacy League presented detailed reports on the results of the summit negotiations in Washington in June 2012.
