Toyota Learning Centre to be launched at SibFU

Toyotal Learning Centre will be launched in February 2013. According to SibFU President Alexander Uss, Krasnoyarsk Krai Assembly Chair, the event will coincide with Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum. The timing was discussed during the visit of Krasnoyarsk delegation to Japan in November 2012.

SibFU representatives discussed collaboration perspectives with the senior management of the auditing and consulting company «Toyota Engineering Corporation» (TEC), they visited production facilities and the learning centre of Toyota automobile corporation.

The Japanese partners from Toyota Engineering Corporation intend to give two workshops on Toyota production and management system in March 2013.

According to the Project Head and Associate Professor from the SibFU's Department of Production Management and Social Technologies Sergey Dranishnikov, SibFU will have obtained learning facilities with a learning assembly line to assemble ventilators. A senior consultant from Toyota Engineering Corporation will be invited to give lectures to the senior managers from Krasnoyarsk Krai production companies.

The learning centre will allow SibFU's undergraduate and graduate students to learn Japanese management studying the example of Toyota production system.
