SibFU ranks ninth among the top ten economic and technical universities in Rissia

According to a leading rating agency Expert RA, SibFU ranks ninth among top Russian universities teaching programmes in Economics and related subjects. SibFU ranks tenth among technical universities.

According to the agency's representatives, the agency ranked universities teaching programmes in Economics by their level of teaching, international integration, resources, prospective students' surveys, and career growth paths for their graduates.

The rating measured fifty leading universities (national, federal, classical tertiary institutions and the universities with teaching programmes only in Economics, Finance and Management).

The agency also ranked universities with the programmes in Technology, Engineering and Sciences. The ranking included 90 universities and they were ranked by a slightly different set of criteria. These included collaboration with employees, innovative activity, research and innovative infrastructure.

The methodology included quantitative and statistical indicators and the results of qualitative research. The findings were based on the results of online surveys. Target groups included students and graduates, academic community and potential employees.

The data is based on statistics and qualitative results collected at the end of 2012.
