Information exchange will contribute to the research activity cariied out by the university faculty and staff. According to SibFU's Library Director Ruslan Baryshev, online access will bring library services to the consumer, simplify document search and it will save time. «We provide access to numerous digital documents, regional archive's digitisation programme enlarged this service by 10, 000 digital copies», — Library's Director said.

«Providing access to the digital copies of archival documents will contribute to an enhanced access to information resources on Russian history and local history. Faculty and students will be able to learn about exciting documents illuminating the past, — Marina Vlasova, Director of Krasnoyarsk Krai's State Archive said. — Some researchers might want to study local history, some of them may want to write about their ancestors or look at the images of the city that date back a century and a half. Some of them may want to come to the archive to continue their work».
