High school students and university faculty study sports in connection with Krasnoyarsk application to host Universiade 2019. Safety for the athletes that do sports prone to injuries was the objective of the research teaam made of university and high school students. The team's supervisors are from UNESCO Centre 'New Materials and Technology' and the Department of Radio Systems at Siberian Federal University. The team invented a barrier to soften crashes. The device is attached to athletes' bodies and it is automatically triggered in case of an accident.

Currently, SibFU and schoool 10 are preparing for patenting six more inventions. The activity is going on within the agreement 'On collaboration for developing innovative potential and preparing new students with a creative potential in engineering'.
