Anthony John Sinskey becomes SibFU's Honorary Professor

Professor of Microbiology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology received the status of SibFU's Honorary Professor.

The event of receiving the diploma and the mantle occurred during the research session on the 'Biotechnologies of New Biomaterials' research project. SibFU's rector Eugene Vaganov suggested that cooperation with Anthony John Sinskey, a distinguished researcher, increases the university's prestige.

Anthony John Sinskey has become the third researcher with the title of SibFU's Honorary Professor. It was first conferred upon Osamu Shimomura in September 2012. The second researcher to receive the title in November 2012 was Ernst-Detlef Schulze, Professor Emeritus from Max-Planck-Institute for Biogeochemistry.
