SibFU receives two new megagrants from the Ministry of Education and Science

The RF Ministry of Education and Science announced the forty two awardees of the fourth competition to carry out research led by a prominent scientist. The awardees include two SibFU's projects.

The forty two projects will be hosted by 23 Russian universities and 13 research institutions.

Projects from SibFU:

  • research in 'Multidimensional complex analysis and differential equations', the field is 'Mathematics' and the invited scientist is Ari Laptev);
  • research in 'Conifer genomics for the main boreal species and their pathogens in the Russian Federation' in the field of 'Agriculture, Forestry and Fishery'. The invited researcher is Konstantin Krutovsky.

The competition was among 503 researchers, with 203 researchers being the RF citizens. The competition included the representatives of 40 countries (Australia, Belgium, the UK, Hungary, Germany, Greece, Israel, India, Spain, Italy, Canada, China, the USA, Finland, France, Sweden, Japan).

SibFU has already received three megagrants to invite prominent scientists to organize new laboratories and develop their research.
