SibFU is among top ten Russian universities for Webomertrics rating

SibFU has been ranked tenth among Russian universities and it has 1028th rank among the universities ranked by Webomertics. The ranking is performed by Cybermetrics Lab. SibFU gained 972 points compared to its rank in July 2013.

Webometrics international rating has been published twice a year since 2004. The analysis indicators are the number of external links, the number of indexed pages and citation index. Webometrics analyses how a university is represented in the Internet. The rating can indirectly reveal universities' research accomplishments by comparing their web sites.

Webometrics ranks 20 000 universities over the world. Other Siberian universities represented among top twenty Russian universities are Novosibirsk State University (3rd rank), Tomsk State University (11th rank), Tomsk Polytechnic University (12th rank), Novosibirsk State Technical University (16th rank).
