SibFU professor to speak at the University of Barselona

Professor Vladimir Shishov, head of department of quantitative approaches and information technologies at the Institute of Trade and Economics, SibFU, will speak at the Faculty of Biology, University of Barselona (Spain). Professor Shishov will speak about simulating tree growth.

The seminar is supported by Erasmus Mundus and Eranet Plus programmes.

Professor Shishov will speak about simulating tree growth. The seminar will last for 3 days and the programme includes lectures on the foundations of simulation models in dendroecology. There will be laboratory classes on applying models in various parts of Europe and Asia.

The Univesity of Barselona will host the seminar from 14 to 16 May 2014. Details can be obtained from Prof. Emilia Gutierres at emgutierrez@ub.edu.
