SibFU has signed a cooperation agreement with Harbin

October 13, 2015 Siberian Federal University and the Office of Foreign Experts Affairs of the city of Harbin (China) signed a cooperation agreement, which provides for the university training in the fields of economy, science, technology and culture for the Heilongjiang Province.

The training will be held in two formats. Those are the targeted training of Chinese citizens on specific educational programs and the courses for additional qualification and training of the Russian experts to work in China.

As the vice-rector for Research and International Cooperation of SibFU Sergey Verkhovets said, the range of training areas is wide enough: "Our colleagues from China are ready to study Master’s Degree and Postgraduate programs in Humanities, Engineering, Civil Engineering, Communications, and International Economic Relations".

Sergey mentioned that the agreement with Harbin deepens cooperation of SibFU with Asian countries, because for the first time such document on cooperation was signed with an executive authority, and not an educational or scientific institution.
