The guests had a tour around the campus, visited the dormitories and science laboratories. After that the delegates met with the rector of SibFU Eugene Vaganov and signed a cooperation agreement.

President of Tianjin University Li Weian said that this is the first time he was in Krasnoyarsk and was impressed by the size of the campus and resources of the University:"Did not expect to see a modern university of such a high level in the heart of Russia, far from the capital's universities. I am confident that the cooperation will be mutually beneficial".

Tianjin University provides training for financial and economic block. The agreement provides for the academic exchanges and training of teachers.

"The signing of the agreement is just the beginning. We will align our educational programs so that the student exchange takes place provided the recognition of credits. Presumably, the academic exchanges will start no earlier than 2017 ", — said Eugene Vaganov.

During the visit an additional agreement was also signed between the Innovation Center of Tianjin University and the School of Mathematics and Computer Science of SibFU. As noted by the management of the school, the Chinese side is interested, above all, at the invitation of the teaching staff to deliver lectures on mathematical disciplines.
