Russian and international researchers, policy makers and innovative businesses' representatives gave eight lectures at SibFU as a part of Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum from 14 to 16 February 2013.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Lev Kuznetsov, Krasnoyarsk Krai Governor, had a meeting with the Board of the Regional Tatar Community Council for Krasnoyarsk Krai. Edkham Akbulatov, head of Krtasnoyarsk, attended the meeting.
According to elibrary elibrary.ru data, SibFU takes the 21st place among Russian research institutions. SibFU takes the 6th place among Russian universities.
The RF Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev talked to SibFU's students on 14 February 2013. He also chaired a joint meeting of Trustee Boards for Siberian Federal University and Southern Federal University.
Students from the Law Institute, SibFU, won the Russian National Championship of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. The Jessup competition is one of the largest and most exciting competitions among the students of international law schools held by the International Law Students Association since 1959.
SibFU students Ivan Timofeenko, Alexander Menshikov, Pavel Pankin and Xenia Malyshevskaya are the team behind the project "New Perspective". The project is among the best completed social projects supported by Vladimir Potanin Foundation in 2012.
Faculty and students from the Institute for the Humanities, SibFU, completed the project 'Digital collections of the Museum of Geology, Central Siberia'. It was a joint project between the university and the Museum of Geology, Central Siberia. It was supported by the Regional Reserach Foundation.
SibFU is the winner of Universiade 2012, the competition held among tertiary educational institutions in Krasnoyarsk and Krasnoyarsk Krai. The Institute of Commerce and Economics, SibFU, won the First Award in Smaller Universiade (among the institutions with the number of students lower than 2500).
The web site for Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum has published its Business Programme. The forum's motto for its business part is 'Russia: the roadmap of changes'. The forum's participants will discuss a range of economic and social issues related to Russia's development.
