Andrey Barhkatov, a web programmer from the Internet Centre, Siberian Federal University, won the first place in a competition of IT specialists held at the First Siberian IT Festival on 1-3 November.

Andrey Barkhatov won the first place among internet software specialists and received a laptop as a prize.

Other categories of competition included: the best hardware specialist, the best system administrator, and the best specialist in information security. Leonid Kabanov won the second place as system administrator.
