During the meeting with SibFU rector Maksim Rumiantsev, the parties discussed the deepening of cooperation between SibFU and universities in Kazakhstan in scientific and academic interaction in such areas as mining and metallurgy, as well as in the oil and gas industry.

In addition, the visiting party held a meeting with Kazakh students studying in Krasnoyarsk at Siberian Federal University and Siberian Law Institute of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. During the meeting, the students told about Altyn Kazakhstan Students Union and discussed prospects for employment after graduation.

“Today’s meeting is essential to me, as many our students study in Krasnoyarsk. Engineering training programs of Siberian Federal University are in priority. For example, in connection with the opening of full-cycle plants by Kia and Hyundai, we need qualified machine builders. I think, we should focus on regional strong universities, Siberian Federal University in particular, and and increase the number of applicants,” noted the Ambassador.
