Siberian Federal University celebrated the International Day of University Sport on 18 September, 2022. More than 2.5 thousand people took part in a variety of sports festivities.
10 interactive playgrounds were prepared for the guests of the festival: curling, mini golf, darts, etc. In addition, they could take Ready for Labor and Defence (GTO) standards tests and participate in a sports quiz.
”The International Day of University Sport was a success. It was a sunny day, and the atmosphere was warm and cheerful. Not only students, but citizens of Krasnoyarsk came to Raduga. A sports festival becomes a hotspot for people of all ages. It is important that the representatives of the Council of Rectors of Universities of Krasnoyarsk Territory took part in the event. Informal meetings and communication with students on an equal footing is crucial for the development of university sport," said Alexander Bliznevsky, director of the School of Physical Education, Sport and Tourism.

The students of all Krasnoyarsk universities struggled to win in chess, tug of war, streetball and arm wrestling.
The Great Run brought the festival to a bright finish. 336 people took part in the run. They covered 5 kilometers along a unique route between Raduga and Sopka clusters.
