Eugene Vaganov, SFU's rector, and Alfonso Maldonado Zamora, Director, School of Mining, Madrid Polytechnic University, have signed a collaboration agreement.

As a result of the agreement, students from the Institute of Mining, Geology and Geotechnology will have an opportunity to study in Madrid during their last year and to get an internship in a Spanish company after graduation. Russian students will be accepted after a rigorous competition based on their transcripts, professors' references and interviews.
