SFU's mountaineerers climbed the highest peak in the Eastern Sayan mountains
SFU's mountaineering club members climbed the Munku-Sardik, the highest peak in the Eastern Sayan mountains, bordering Mongolia and Buryatia. It was the fourth climbing expedition organized by the university's mountaineering club. The ten-day climbing tour was even more difficult due to low night temperatures, strong winds and heavy snow. SFU's students worked hard during the year and are ready to undertake independent expeditions and share their experience.
