On November 29, 2008 the 3rd International Student Festival “Studentship Without Borders” was held in MixMax exposition centre.
As in the previous year the Festival gathered together foreign students, post graduates and teachers studying or teaching in Krasnoyarsk Universities. Young people out of 28 countries spent a whole day talking to their Krasnoyarsk mates, presented their countries and cultures, discussed problems of education and international communication.
Not only foreign students but Russian students as well took part in the Festival. They had an opportunity to get acquainted with foreign cultures and make friends with students from Great Britain, Germany, Czech Republic, China, Korea, Nigeria, Croatia, Brazil, Armenia, Azerbaijan and other countries. This year the number of Russian participants increased as well: for the first time the Festival hosted a delegation from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.
During the whole day on the main stage there was a concert made out of the students’ creative performances.
The organizers of the Festival represented by the Council of Rectors of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Universities supported by the Administrations of Krasnoyarsk Territory and Krasnoyarsk city, Siberian Federal University and other Krasnoyarsk Universities are sure that the 3rd International Student Festival “Studentship Without Borders” was a vivid remarkable event in the city life and contributed a lot to understanding between the nations.
