The Russian Foundation for Fundamental Research (RFFR) and the U.S. Civilian Research & Development Foundation (CRDF) made a contest of R&D projects concerning climatic changes.
According to the results of independent inquiry, RFFR and CRDF sponsored the project of Siberian Federal University headed by Eugene A. Vaganov, SibFU Rector and Academician RAS. The project is titled «The impact of temperature fluctuation and humidity on the growth layer composition and structure of Siberian trees».
