Dance group «CalypsO» to return in triumph

Creative teams from 15 countries (Great Britain, France, Romania, China, Israel, Ukraine, Poland, etc.) took part in the 15th Anniversary International Competition “Roza Vetrov-2009”.

Even though more than 3000 participants came to participate in the Competition, the Dance Group of Siberian Federal University did not miss out on a chance to gain victory! «CalypsO» was awarded in «Pop dance» and «Modern dance» nominations and took the second and third place in the Competition.

Apart from diplomas and prizes, «CalypsO» was officially invited to take part in the International Festival Roza Vetrov in France (April 2010).

The 15th Annual International Festival-Competition for children and youth art Roza Vetrov-2009 was supported by the Ministry of Culture and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, the Federal Agency for Culture and Cinematography, Moscow Government, Members of Parliament, Governors of Regions and International Organizations.

The motto of the Competition held on November 1-6, 2009 was «Let’s preserve Russian and world cultural heritage together».

Countries - Participants: Russia (58 regions), foreign countries (15 countries): Bulgaria, Italy, France, Israel, Belorussia, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, the USA, Poland, Slovakia, etc.

The jury of the Competition: 80 specialists from Russia and other countries.
