Olga Medvedtseva, SibFU student joined the national team and won her first relay race in Oberhof (Germany) on January 6, 2010.

Evgeny Ustyugov won hands down in the 10km sprint at the World Cup stage on January 9, 2010. Ustyugov wore the yellow bib and led the overall World Cup standings on 283 points with American Tim Burke.
