SibFU student to win gold medal at the Magomed Salam Umakhanov Memorial Boxing Championship

The XIIth International Boxing Championship was held in Makhachkala (Republic of Dagestan) on April 11 – 18, 2010. The championship was dedicated to the memory of Magomed Salam Umakhanov, government official of the Republic.

Sportsmen from Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belorussia, Latvia, Azerbaijan, Poland, Sweden and Russia fought for the best championship’s titles.

Alexander Besputin, SibFU student, International Master of Sports and national team member won gold medal in the 64 kg weight category.
