The International School of Microscopy to be established in the SibFU

Uchida Kazuei, President and CEO of the Tokyo Boeki (RUS) Ltd. issued a proposal to launch the International School of Microscopy in Siberian Federal University during the meeting with Evgeny Vaganov, SibFU Rector on October 03, 2011.

As explained by Uchida Kazuei, the similar school had been recently opened in the National University of Science and Technology «MISIS» (Moscow). «Students work on the expensive equipment indirectly via PC with the contemporary software installed. Such approach enables to promote the interest to research as well as provide safety for the unique equipment», — said CEO of the Tokyo Boeki (RUS) Ltd.

Furthermore, SibFU and Tokyo Boeki (RUS) Ltd. extended the Agreement on «Tokyo Boeki Scholarships» within the framework of the visit. The Agreement provides eight named scholarships for the students, graduate students and young scientists in terms of the best results at studies or scientific activities. Each scholarship is 15 000 rubles RF for each academic semester.
