Raphael Martinetti, FILA President, and Michael Mamiashvili, President of Russian Wrestling Federation, explored the development of wrestling in a public lecture at SibFU.
The ninety minute lecture was attended by the students from SibFU's Sports Institute and the university faculty memebers.
Michael Mamiashvili was looking to Russian Wrestling Federation, its structure and objectives: "Russia has a strong tradition of wrestling. Confidence in our strength means we are hot frightened by coaches leaving to seek employment abroad. We are interested to find new challenges and competitiors."

Raphael Martinetti was exploring FILA's activity in building international wrestling centres in different parts of the world. "Developed countries seem to have weak traditions of wrestling. International wrestling centres will give an opportunity to get decent training environment and strong coaches, which might result in increasing popularity of wrestling in the world."
