The Snowboard Euro Cup was started up on December 04, 2010 in Welschnofen-Carezza (ITA).

Elmira Gimadeeva, 3-year student of the SibFU Institute of Economics, Management and Environmental Studies was honored with the title «Miss Krasnoyarsk – 2010». She will present the city at the «Miss Russia» Contest. The contestant won the crown by the Internet and SMS voting.

Siberian Federal University and JSC «Gazprom dobycha Krasnoyarsk» (the Subsidiary Company of Gazprom) signed the Agreement on Cooperation. The Agreement is aimed at using efficiently the intellectual, material and technical resources possessed by both parties.

The documentary photo exhibition called «Oil as a Piece of Art» was opened at the SibFU Institute of Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering. It is primarily devoted to oil industry development at the Krasnoyarsk territory. The exhibition will be opened till February 2011.

The research project called «Personal Heartbeat Monitor» of Andrey Mishurov, postgraduate student of the SibFU Institute of Engineering Physics and Radio Electronics generated mass interest of the participants of the exhibition devoted to R&D projects in the field of medicine elaborated within the fellowship of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Fund for Scientific and Technical Activity Support.

Evgeny A. Vaganov, SibFU Rector, Academician RAS joined the delegation led by Lev Kuznetsov, Governor of the Krasnoyarsk territory and visited the World Expo held on October 21-24, 2010 in Shanghai (China).

Evgeny A. Vaganov, SibFU Rector participated in the official opening of the academic year in Spain held by Spain's King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia.

The delegation of the Siberian Federal University and «EPAC-service» company visited IFP School on October 15, 2010. IFP School is a school with an industrial focus which offers students from around the world graduate programs to meet the needs of industry and society in the fields of energy, oil, gas, petrochemicals and powertrain.
