Public lectures of Gazprom representatives

Alexei Mastepanov, advisor to duputy chairman, Gazprom's management committee, and professor at Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas speaks at Siberian Federal University on 17 May 2012. Gas industry development in Eastern Siberia will be also discussed by V.A. Krokha, chief engineer of 'Gazprom Geological Exploration'.

Mastepanov and Krokha discuss how exploration technology is different at industrial sites, resources of Eastern Siberia, gas industry development in the region, Gazprom projects in geological exploration and new areas of gas extraction in the east of the country.

Exploration stages will be demonstrated at a specialised photo exhibition.

OOO «Gazprom Geological Exploration» is a wholly owned subsidiary of ОАО «Gazprom». The company contributes to developing the mineral resources of gas industry as outlined in the Programme of Development to 2035. The programme implies balancing mineral resource base considering the changing structure of mineral deposits. The centres of activity for gas extraction move to new regions: Yamal, Eastern Siberia, Far East, Russian shelf.
