SibFU collaborates with 'Aichi Society'

Aichi prefecture representatives and Katagiri Kiyotaka, the president of Japan-Russia Society visit Siberian Federal University on 18 May 2012.

Japanese representatives will meet SibFU's rector Eugene Vaganov and tour the university. SibFU's administration and the Japanese members of 'Aichi society' will discuss further forms and directions of collaboration, in particular, the memorandum suggested by the Japanese society and next year's potential projects.

«Aichi Russia-Japan Society is a major non-public organization. It is a regional subsidiary of Japan-Russia Society and it was established in 2000.

The members of the society are the members of the Japanese parliament and the prefecture's assembly, academics, mass media senior management and business representatives.

The Society aims to strengthen the relations between Japan and Russia at a regional level and organises events to interest the prefecture and Nagoy, its capital, in Russia, Krasnoyarsk Krai and Krasnoyarsk. The events include public lectures, exhibitions, concerts, educational events.

Katagiri Kiyotaka has been the head of 'Aichi Society' since 2010. He is a consultant for the trade union federation of Toyota Motor Company. He was the head of trade union federation of Toyota Motor Company and the member of the prefecture assembly.
