Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum: public lectures

Siberian Federal University will host public lectures for Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum from 14 to 16 February 2013. The lecturers will be the Economic Forum's attendees, distinguished researchers, policy makers and entrepreneurs.

The lecturers will speak on how global communities meet the challenges of the current economic situation and on how modern technologies improve life quality.

The representatives of Russian and international IT companies will speak on how IT sector will be developing in the future under the influence of governmental policies and economic impacts. Some of the lectures will be about the Internet influencing the economy of developed countries.

The representatives of business community will speak on innovative industries and a new wave of technological development.

X Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum will be held under the auspices of the RF Government, the RF Ministry of Economic Development, the RF Ministry of Regional Development, Krasnoyarsk Krai Government.

The event's attendees intend to discuss some strategic initiatives of social and economic development in Russia from now to 2018. They will speak on new growth models related to an institutional change and improving life quality.

The Economic Forum is among the three most efficient events to discuss policy making for economy, development and innovation. The 2012 Forum was attended by 2,500 participants. The number included the representatives of 41 Russian regions and delegations from 28 countries.
