SibFU and Polyus Gold International to sign an agreement

SibFU and Polyus Gold International will sign an agreement on collaboration for 2013-2015 on 11 February 2013.

Eugene Vaganov will sign the agreement on behalf of SibFU, Alexey Texler, head of Krasnoyarsk business unit, will sign the agreement on behalf of Polyus Gold International.

The agreement implies long term collaboration that can be beneficial for both parts. It will be about education, work placement, career, research and development, IT, management and sustainability. The collaboration includes joint events to provide competitive labour pool for Polyus Gold Internantional.

In particular, the agreement outlines joint educational programmes and work placements, building electronic libratries and the foundations of distance learning, workshops for the university faculty and staff and having joint conferences.

Poyus Gold International is the largest gold producer in Russia and one of the top 10 gold miners globally by ounces produced. The Company holds the world’s third largest gold reserves.

The company's principal operations are located in Russia’s most prolific gold mining provinces in Eastern Siberia and the Far East and include 5 operating mines, alluvial operations and several advanced development projects.

Polyus Gold International in Krasnoyarsk Kray employed 7, 800 people in 2012.
