SibFU hosts Siberian Historical Forum

On 14-16 September 2022, the 9th International Siberian Historical Forum will be held in SibFU Congress Hall. This year it will be devoted to the historical and cultural heritage of the peoples of Siberia and the Far East, and the 200th anniversary of the founding of the Yenisey Province. The entrance for the students and teaching staff is free.

The program of the forum includes a general plenary session, thematic sessions with the participation of leading Russian scientists, as well as sections and round tables with the participation of Russian and foreign anthropologists, archaeologists, historians, art historians, local lore historians, linguists, museologists, religious scholars, ethnographers, and other specialists.

The forum holds 6 platforms:

Museums: Heritage, History and Modernity;
The Scythian World of Eurasia;
The Peoples of Siberia and the Far East: from Ancient Times to the Present Day;
History of Siberia;
Traditions and Modernity in the Culture and Art of Siberia;
Regional studies.

Scientists from the Russian Academy of Sciences, universities, regional scientific communities, and representatives of cultural institutions and creative and public associations will contribute to the discussions of common historical knowledge, supervision of research, educational and publishing activities.
