The Workshop was held on August 24-28, 2009 in Siberian Federal University. The main purpose of the Workshop was to highlight the latest scientific advances within the broad field of nanomechanics in academics and industry. This symposium provided the opportunity for researchers coming from different corners of the world to be on a single platform of discussion, exchanging ideas and developing collaborations. Organizing committee brought together leading scientists working in the field of nanostructure growth, specifically investigating the properties and development of nanodevices.
