International Seminar on «Issues concerning Professional German Language Teaching for Engineering and Economics Specialities at the Non-language Higher Educational Institutions» led by Dr. Zigrun Shrot-Vihert, lector of the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) was held in Siberian Federal University on January 25 - 29, 2010.

The following issues were discussed at the seminar:

• Professional German Language Teaching for Engineering and Economics Specialities at the Non-language Higher Educational Institutions;
• Role of Students and Teachers in Professional German Language Teaching;
• Group Work in Professional German Language Teaching;
• Theoretical Explanation of Different Language Exercises;
