Japanese delegation of the Institutes of Technology visited Siberian Federal University

The Japanese student delegation of Kanazawa Institute of Technology (KIT) and Chiba Institute of Technology (CIT) led by Demura Kosei, Professor of the KIT Department of Robotics visited Siberian Federal University on October 21, 2011. Evgeny Vaganov, SibFU Rector held the official meeting with Professor Demura Kosei.

Professor of the KIT Department of Robotics paid great interest to the SibFU educational programs, the level of training and demand for the engineering specialities.

During the meeting, Evgeny Vaganov told the visitors about Siberian Federal University and its structure, current collaboration with Japanese companies and universities and also about the SibFU R&D activities.

Having come to the Krasnoyarsk territory for the first time, Prof. Demura Kosei expressed his hope for the future development of the international student cooperation between both countries. At the end of the meeting, both parties agreed on prolonging their cooperation in the areas of mutual interest.

Within the framework of the visit to Siberian Federal University, the Japanese delegation came to the SibFU Polytechnic Institute to explore automated complexes and robotic systems. The delegation also met with students of the SibFU Institute of Philology and Language Communication and Japanese Cultural Centre.
