On 4 February 2022, the XXIV Winter Olympic Games will start in Beijing. The Russian team has two students from Siberian Federal University.
Elizaveta Ponkratova (freestyle) and Kristina Paul (snowboard), students of the School of Physical Education, Sports and Tourism (SibFU, Russia), will compete at the Beijing Olympics. Kristina will perform on9 February in boardercross, and Elizaveta on 17 February in ski cross.
“The Winter Olympic Games start today.The Russian team has 20 athletes from Krasnoyarsk Territory, and two of them are from Siberian Federal University. I hope they will bring the medals for our university, region, and country. The Games will last until 20February, let’s cheer for our team,” — said Aleksandr Bliznevsky, head of the School of Physical Education, Sports and Tourism.
